Professional Development for Educators can be a drag or it can inspire you to make immediate or long term changes to your practice. As both a participant and facilitator, I have found that P.D. closely mimics the teaching and learning that takes place in the classroom. If the facilitator is energetic, passionate, and knowledgable, the session can be rewarding for the participants. Accordingly, if the participant is phoning it in, they won't get much out of the session.
